Hi! I’m a culture worker who writes essays, edits, interviews, develops recipes, makes queer theater, and teaches creative writing to people of all ages. I’m deeply interested in the connections between food and collective liberation, and a lot of my work focuses on those themes.
While I have a BA in Creative Nonfiction, with a minor in Adolescents, Community and Education, from the University of Arizona, much of my learning has taken place in radical collective spaces, direct action campaigns, and as part of organizations for environmental and border justice. I write and create as a queer, adopted, neurodivergent person of Irish, Italian, and English heritage; and a settler on occupied Tohono O’odham and Apache land.
